2010 Family Pictures:) Finally...

So we finally took family pictures, its been a long time coming and I'm so glad we finally got them done. Pricilla Falatea was our photographer and I think her talent is absolutely amazing!!!! I am so thrilled with the outcome and I can't believe how much my boys have grown!!! Thank you Pricilla for making us all look good:)

My lil baby sister is going to be a Mama soon:( I feel like I've taken the place of my mother in raising or trying to raise Sailau lol. My mom passed away when she was 16 and I became my dad's go to person every time he was having problems with Sailau. Sometimes it was hard to be a sister/friend and then help my dad with disciplining her. So my lil sister/best friend is finally going to experience all the joys and heartaches motherhood brings:) She was lucky enough to be Kassie's 1st maternity photo shoot and got her pix for free. By these pix you would never know that Kassie just started her photography business. She's an amazing photographer and I absolutely love the pix she did for Sailau. Alvin and the Chipmunks

So I really suck at Blogging but oh well lol. This Halloween I wanted to do something really cheap and I always like my boys to match in terms of costumes. So this year we went with Alvin and the Chipmunks. Since I only have 2 kids I had to recruit someone else's kid to be our Theodore :) So Taimane is Alvin (and that totally fits his personality because he is my CRAZY child), and Manaia is Simon. I was able to buy my kids hoodies online and all I needed to due was cut out the A for Alvin's sweater and hat. I could not for the life of me find a green hoodie so I ended up dying a grey hoodie for Timena. All in All this was my cheapest Halloween and I have to say they looked pretty darn cute!!! Missing my Mama :(

On Sept 25th 2006 my beautiful mother returned home to our Heavenly Father. Tomorrow will be the 3rd year anniversary of her passing. I don't even know where to start, the night my mom passed away we were all in the room with her. She was planning every detail of her funeral with us from what songs she wants and who she wants to sing them lol. My mom always said she did not want us to get her a wig because she did not care what she looked like but that night she told me and my sisters that she didn't want her grandkids or other kids to be scared of her so she asked us to bury her with a wig. My mom was cracking jokes and making us sing church songs to her while she just laid in bed with her eyes close and a big smile on her face. My mom was the type of person that had to please people. She did everything and anything for our family and even total strangers. She is such a perfect example of a "Mother Of Zion". I don't know how she does it because I find myself struggling daily with just my two boys. There is not a day that goes by where I don't think about my mom and how different things would be if she were here. I know that one day I will be able to see my mom again and until then my heart aches for her every second. There are so many things I want to share with her and I long for her motherly advice with my struggles with my little family.

I love you mom and miss you more than you know.

Manaia's 1st day of school

Here is a pix of lil Manaia right before we took him to his 1st day of Kindergarten. He's been so ready to start kindergarten and is loving every minute of it. Manaia attends Daybreak Elementary. Every time we pick him up from school he always has a neat lil craft that he made in class that day. He's learning so much and already knows how the read the words I, See, The, Me, and You. So I got 1 down and 1 to go. Now that Naia is at school for 3 hours Taimane and mommy get to spend some quality time together. He's dying to go to school with his brother and doesn't understand why he can't go with him:( The teachers better be ready for Taimane because he is TROUBLE!!! LOL.

Survivor

So I've always wanted to apply for survivor but never got around to doing it. I love this show and no matter how many seasons they've had it never gets old. So I finally took the 1st step and filled out the application. I figured hey you never know what can happen so why not give it a shot. They've never had a Polynesian on the show so why not be the first one. I watch the show every week and wonder why the contestants play the game the way they do. I'm always telling my husband "man if I was on there I would so win" lol. Its about time they need their 1st Poly on their show and I'm hoping it will be me. SOOOOOOOOOOOO THIS IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP. I have to come up with a 3 min video on why they should pick me. So can you pls give me some ideas. When I down loaded the application there was no dead line on there so I hope I'm not too late. So I'm trying to get the video done ASAP!!!! Let me know what I should do for my video... Thanks and wish me luck!!!

California knows how to Party!!!

So last Thursday Me, Lil Naia, and Manaia flew to Cali for Manaia's football work out. We decided to Leave Taimane with my MIL becasue we only had 3 buddy passes and he's the one that is really close to her and wouldn't mind staying behind. It was soooo much fun to see how excited Naia was on the plane. He sat by the window and watch TV throughout the whole flight. His favorite part of the trip was the take off. When we landed Sailau's boyfriend picked us up and we headed straight to Jack in the Box. Man of man was it delicious. I have no clue why Utah does not have a Jack in the Box. After we stuffed ourselves we headed to Torrance to settle in at my Uncle Joe's house. We had to wait a lil while before everyone got off work. It was soooo good seeing my lil sister and my cousin ( who is like a sister). That night we just hung out with everyone and relaxed. The next day we went to Santa Monica Pier. That was Naia's first time at the beach and he loved every single moment of it. The water was freezing but he didn't care. He kept begging me to go swimming but I kept telling him no its too cold:( We then went to the peir, I took him on his first roller coaster ride and he loved it. I told him put his hands up and then he started screaming like a lil girl. Its was toooooooo funny. Over all our trip was a blast, we even had time to visit six flags as well. I miss my lil sis and my cuz soooo much. I loved the Cali weather and can't wait to go back soon. Oh and Manaia did awesome at his workouts too lol.
